Yunnan is a province in southwest China where many ethnic
groups live. It is located in a mountainous area, with many varied
climates. The primeval forest in
Xishuangbanna is the only oasis on the Tropic of Cancer, and is home to a wide
variety of animals and plants. Naxi music is a traditional musical style, which
has existed for thousands of years. The Mosuo people who live by Lugu Lake
still retain the marriage system of matriarchal society. Buddhism, Taoism,
Catholicism and Islamism co-exist well in the area, and everyone’s religious
