Both sides' collections are complementary to each other because most of Taipei's antiques date to before the Qing Dynasty, while the Beijing Palace Museum collection was mainly produced during the heyday of the Qing Dynasty and later periods.

The two sides had agreed to exchange images and videos of the relics, researchers and research, jointly hold a two-day academic seminar on Emperor Yong Zheng's life, on Nov. 5, and other academic seminars in the future.
