Many rare cultural and historical relics were discovered, including bronze ware, jade and stones, original porcelain and pottery, according to the Shaanxi Cultural Heritage Bureau. A team of archaeologists organized by Shaanxi Institute of Archaeology, School of Archaeology of Peking University and Zhou Yuan Museum carried out the excavation on a cemetery of the Western Zhou Dynasty of China in Shanxi province, from November to December.
According to experts, many of the relics are found for the first time. The discovery provides new data for studies.
