The Chinese Peking Opera, The Jewelry Pouch, and actress Zhang Huoding were featured at the closing ceremony of the 15th Meet in Beijing Arts Festival on Thursday.
The Chinese Peking Opera Suolin Purse will be featured at the closing ceremony of the 15th Meet in Beijing Arts Festival. Zhang Huoding, who plays the main character, will make her debut at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York in September.
This year's Meet in Beijing Arts Festival will open with Natalia Makarova's Swan Lake on Thursday. Isabella Boylston, principal of the American Ballet Theatre, will cooperate with Ma Xiaodong, principal of the National Ballet of China, on the show.

As a kaleidoscope of arts and culture, the 15th Meet in Beijing Arts Festival will commence on Apr 23 and last for more than five weeks.
From April 23 to May 30, the large-scale international event will see 42 art troupes and 104 bands from 25 countries and regions perform more than 100 indoor shows and 50 outdoor galas.
