Jilin Provincial Museum of Revolution

The Jilin Provincial Museum of Revolution is a museum specialized in popularization and research of Jilin modern and contemporary revolutionary history. Founded in December 1978, the museum was situated in Changchun City of Jilin Province.

Covering 5,000 square meters, the museum boasts 20,752 collections, including manuscripts of revolutionist Lin Boqu before the breakout of the 1911 Revolution, leaflets of the May the 4th Movement, personal articles of anti-Japanese national hero Yang Jingyu, and some medals of the Liberation Army soldiers.

Besides, there are 23,046 photos that expose the crimes committed by the Japanese army during their aggression, including facilities used by the notorious Japanese Unit 731, which did germ experiments on Chinese people.

In addition to the basic displays of local revolutionary history, the museum has launched exhibitions on special topics, such as the Exhibition of Stories of Martyrs Like Anti-Japanese National Hero Yang Jingyu, Etc., the Exhibition of Important Figures in the Party History of Jilin, the Exhibition of Jilin New Appearance, the Exhibition of Crimes Committed by Japanese Invaders in Northeast, and so on.
