Exhibition Hall of Revolutionary Relics in Youjiang of Guangxi

The Exhibition Hall of Revolutionary Relics in Youjiang of Guangxi, located at Baise City of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a revolutionary memorial hall established in memory of the revolutionary struggles of the 7thRed Army and the Youjiang Revolutionary Base Area and the Baise Uprising. It was prepared in 1961 and completed in 1965. The exhibition hall, covering an area of 1,500 square meters, was initially built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the site of Dongyue Guild Hall. It was the site of the former headquarters of 7thRed Army of China.

The exhibition hall has a collection of over 1,000 items. The restoration and display of the site of the former headquarters of 7thRed Army and the display of the revolutionary relics give a brief introduction to the history of the people of various nationalities in Youjiang during the revolutionary struggles in the period of the New Democratic Revolution, the Baise Uprising under the leadership of Deng Xiaoping, Zhang Yunyi and Wei Baqun,and the struggles and achievements of the 7th Red Army in the Youjiang Revolutionary Base Area.

The exhibition hall has compiled and publishedthe Site of Former Headquarters of the 7th Red Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Armyand compiled together with the related unitsthe Collection of Documents of Youjiang Revolutionary Historyin series,the General Description of Youjiang Revolutionary Base Area in Guangxi, andthe Historical Data of the CPC in Series.
