The Memorial of Comrade Zhou Enlai's Revolutionary Activities in Tianjin in His Youth was built in memory of Zhou Enlai's study and social activities when he was young. Located at the former site of Eastern Building in Nankai School of Tianjin, the memorial was built in 1976 and opened to the public in 1978. The Eastern Building, a two-storeyed wooden structure built in 1906, covers a total area of 952 square meters.

The first floor of the building is where Zhou Enlai had physics and chemistry classes and promoted a patriotic movement among the students; the upper floor has several rooms. On the wall of one room are two large group pictures of Zhou Enlai and his classmates, and quite a number of diplomas, award-banners and medals of Zhou Enlai; the other rooms of the floor are for special exhibitions with over 80 pieces of precious historical relics and literatures, and more than 90 photos, to show the early revolutionary activities of Zhou Enlai and his transformation from a patriotic youth into a strong-willed Marxian.
