The Baoji Museum, situated in the Jintai Temple of Baoji City in Shaanxi Province, was built in 1956. It was originally named as the Exhibition Hall of Historical Relics, and renamed as the Baoji Museum in 1958.

The Museum covers a construction area of 2,250 square meters, with 598 square meters for exhibition halls. It has a collection of 11,000 cultural relics, including 5,740 precious bronze utensils mainly from the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century-771BC). Of the 45 first-grade bronze wares, the most treasured one is HeZun(an ancient wine utensil), which has an inscription of 122 Chinese characters recording the story of Emperor Wuwang of the Western Zhou Dynasty.

The Museum stages the Basic Display of Historical Relics of the Western Zhou Dynasty, showing the rise and decline of the dynasty. Besides, the Museum has held some exhibitions of excavations from Western Zhou tombs.
