Film Still Tomorrow, a Chinese documentary on a controversial poet, was released on June 18 at the ongoing Shanghai International Film Festival.

The film, produced by major online video platform Youku, follows Yu Xiuhua, a woman with cerebral palsy from Hubei province, who gained fame in 2015 for her poems. The film is named after her poetry collection.

Yu Hongmiao, producer of the film, said at the premiere that the production reflects social values in today's China.

The film has gained 8.5 points out of total 10 on Douban, the country's main film critic website. It will compete for the Gold Goblet Award, the highest award at the film festival, and is to be publicly screened nationwide later.
