The Chinese New Year - Just Share It contest provided a chance for participants from all over the world to tell their stories of the Spring Festival. We received entries from across the globe and are pleased to show these original works –stories, photos and videos– on our website. After a grueling selection process and tough discussions, we have shortlisted the potential winners. Some of the submissions have been edited for style and context.
To select the winners, we invite you to choose the best contributions made by fellow readers. Although a minimum of three works will be shortlisted, but you can pick more. Help us share and spread the beauty of Chinese New Year to the world. You can find out more about voting details here.

Fortunately, sister finally came back. On the third day of the lunar calendar, the snow stopped and there was no ice on the highway. So my brother-in-law drove back with my sister and younger brother. I can see mom was happy about that, even though our home was small, and six people in one room make the small room even more crowded. But anyway, we were still happy, because we were together again.
I spent the rest of my holiday (around five days) with my old friends, some of them are still in the university like me, and some of them have started their careers. When people are not at the university, they will think more and have more problems to deal with.
Anyway, we are older every year. The Spring Festival may not be as exciting as when we were young, but it gives us a chance to be together with families and friends. There was one thing I felt regret this year, for I did not spend more time with my grandparents. When we are getting older, so are they. The time we lose will never come back.
