I was waiting for the Chinese Spring Festival this year with great emotion, because my first trip to China was for three weeks in August to participate the musical festival in Beijing with students at Chinese cultural centers in 15 countries. The second reason is I got the first prize in a contest in Cairo, the Chinese ambassador’s Song Cup.

And I saw this year and prior years manifestations of Chinese Spring Festival celebrations in Cairo on the Nile. When I traveled to China felt the Chinese love to visit the areas of water in the cities that I have visited, such as Beijing, Jinan, Yantai and Qingdao in the beautiful province of Shandong. These cities are considered paradise, not places on earth. My opinion is that the Chinese have gained self purity in their love to see the pure water as an expression of their love for life.

Green spaces are many and beautiful in China, places to stroll with family members and practice various sports such as martial arts, table tennis and foot badminton. This green spaces makes the Chinese in Cairo looking for a place that looks like it to celebrate the beginning of spring; they chose Ma'adi Island.

I do not forget, when I rode a cable car to climb to the beginning of the Great Wall of China, I found the scene below me was a beautiful green space. It made me sing Arabic songs about nature and beside me was an associate of the Chinese Cultural Center in Seoul, South Korea, who also sang Korean songs for nature. Thus China inspires in the world the sense of beauty and singing for Nature. During the return on the cable cars I sang Chinese songs to a Chinese lady that I met in this cable car who was also inspired by the beautiful green landscape. And the presence of Chinese tea, tasty and useful in the celebration of the Chinese Spring in Cairo, reminded me of a visit tea shops in Beijing, where we enjoyed several flavors of tea. Coloring Beijing Opera masks reminded me of a Beijing Opera artist putting on makeup.

The art of Chinese calligraphy in celebration of the spring on Ma'adi Island, reminded me that I got a box containing four treasures of Chinese calligraphy, a pen, ink, paper as a prize for being good in drawing Chinese calligraphy. I also won the first prize in drawing Chinese calligraphy and also as I remembered Chinese calligraphy that we saw in several floors at the National Museum in Beijing.

Kites on Ma'adi Island reminded me of kites scattered in the Summer Palace in Beijing as a manifestation of the happiness of the Chinese people of all ages on summer holiday and the beauty of the Summer Palace.

And seeing and hearing the Shandong Province Band on Ma'adi Island play brilliantly, reminded me of the concert I attended in Qingdao in Shandong Province. It affected me so that I had tears in my eyes.

Additionally, that band remembered that I sang Chinese and Arabic songs with a lute on a train from Jinan to Yantai and Chinese passengers joined me in singing, even singing in Arabic as I showed them how to sing some Arabic songs.

In the hotel overlooking the Pyramids of Giza, I brought two machines to learn Chinese flute (Hu lu se ), with musical notes for it to teach Chinese, Egyptians and other nationalities of all ages to play it. That was on Feb 19, 2015, as long Chinese Spring Festival in Cairo. I was learning to play it from the best instrumentalist in Yunnan province, which is famous for this beautiful oboe sound.

I celebrated Chinese Spring Festival in Cairo on Feb12, this year also, with a theatrical French director, he knew that I could sing in Chinese. He asked me to sing to him and there were about 80 people present, Egyptians of varying ages, so I sang in Chinese and then I sang the words in Arabic and everyone was happy. I told them that YouTube contains my translations of these songs (I was awarded the translation from Chinese to Arabic and singing on the same music of these songs).

The Chinese Spring Festival contains the joy of fragrance; as it approaches it becomes perfumed with joy, whether in China or Cairo or anywhere else. The Chinese personality loves life and people everywhere, and this is what I felt in Egypt and China. , It makes me say that the Chinese personality contains the secret of beauty in this life: that you feel a permanent spring inside you. It’s reflected on the beauty all around you, so "The Spring declares the Chinese Soul".
